This walking tour was selected by Wallpaper* Magazine as one of the top "not to be missed" events of the London Festival of Architecture.
Atelier Ten provided the lighting and electrical engineering, and energy analysis for the relighting of nine bridges on the River Thames in London. I wrote this walking tour with a mix of technical facts from the designers alongside some history of the bridges.
I drew elevation illustrations of the nine bridges featured, and designed the layout and map.
I've done my fair share of walking tours with PDFs designed for print, rather than screen; with those frustrations in mind, I optimised the aspect ratio of each page and the text sizes to be read on a mobile phone.
I selected the colour palette to reflect the lighting of the bridges, as well as the fact that this tour will primarily be taken after sunset.
